They were preparing to launch a new range of vitamin-packed drinks and needed custom packaging for an influencer box to make a memorable impact. BOL wanted a box that would convey their vibrant brand while offering an engaging unboxing experience that would stand out on social media.

In our initial discussions, BOL emphasised their need for a box that provided a “wow” moment upon opening, with sufficient space to communicate the benefits of their new vitamin-packed drinks. The design had to capture their bold, vibrant aesthetic and convey the brand’s commitment to health and sustainability.
Together we discussed several concept sketches that included different opening styles, and the idea of adding an additional inside flap resonated with BOL. This flap not only added a layer to the unboxing but also created a larger canvas for messaging, artwork, and brand storytelling.
After agreeing on the concept, we moved to create prototypes. We designed the box with an 0427-style allowing the hinged lid to be opened to reveal the inside flap, which held space for extra visuals, artwork, and messaging. This interior flap would then open to showcase the drinks themselves, providing a multi-step unboxing experience that felt both premium and engaging.
To maintain the durability required for shipping, we used high-quality corrugated cardboard which wasn’t thick or bulky but maintained strong integrity. BOL was thrilled with the layered reveal effect and the additional branding space, which allowed them to include key details about the product’s ingredients and health benefits.
3. Optimising Print and Artwork
With the structure in place, we moved to the printing phase. BOL provided their artwork, which featured bold colours, playful text, and images that captured the energy of their brand. Our print team worked closely with BOL’s designers to ensure that the colours were vibrant and that each detail was clear and aligned on the additional flap and outer box.
