CDUs with Eurohooks

Need a better way to display small, hangable items without cluttering shelves?

Cardboard counter displays with euro hooks are perfect for smaller, lightweight hanging items.

The euro hooks are universally sized to fit euro hook holes often found in packaging or on euro hook tabs.

Counter Display Unit with Eurohook

Compliance with Retail Standards

As eurohooks are a fixture in many British shops, CDUs integrate seamlessly with existing shelving systems. This compatibility simplifies installation and ensures consistency in store layouts, appealing to franchised or chain retailers seeking uniformity.

Effective point-of-sale (POS) strategies are crucial for driving sales and enhancing customer engagement. A counter display unit (CDU) equipped with eurohooks offers a versatile solution, combining practicality with strategic merchandising. Designed for placement near till points, these units utilise standardised eurohooks — widely used across British and European retailers — to hang products vertically.

Positioned at eye level, CDUs with Eurohooks capture customers’ attention during the final stages of their shopping journey. This prime location ensures products are prominently displayed, increasing the likelihood of purchase. Items such as confectionery, small accessories, or travel-sized toiletries benefit particularly from this visibility, as shoppers waiting to pay are more inclined to notice and consider last-minute additions. There are many retailers in the UK that adopt this sales technique.

As Retail counter space is often limited, using vertical displays is a smart choice and a great space saver. Eurohooks allow retailers to maximise this area by stacking products upwards rather than outwards. This efficient use of space is ideal for compact shops or cluttered till areas, enabling businesses to showcase a broader range of items without compromising foot traffic or aesthetics.

Proximity to payment zones capitalises on impulse buying behaviour. Studies suggest that up to 70% of purchase decisions are made spontaneously at the point of sale. A well-stocked CDU with enticing, low-cost items — such as batteries, phone chargers, or snacks — can significantly boost incremental sales, driving revenue with minimal effort.

Spacing your products correctly on a display is an important part of the design process and we will usually ask for sample products or packaging to help us line up the euro hooks.

    Our Materials

Single Wall and Double Wall Flutes

Corrugated cardboard is a sustainable and recyclable material which is both lightweight and extremely strong. Depending on the thickness of the corrugations and finish of the liner board, corrugated card can be elegant, strong, and long lasting.

This cardboard can be used for boxes and displays but also furniture, exhibitions, games and art.

E flute is mainly used for inner containers, presentation boxes and smaller countertop displays.

Double wall cardboard such as EE or EB is used where box strength is important, or for free standing displays and dump bins.

Single wall cardboard such as B or C flute is generally reserved for economical outer boxes and cartons. BC flute is used for more demanding applications.

    Corrugated Cardboard

All the benefits of corrugated cardboard but with the added convenience of rigidity in sheet form. This material is ideal for use in cardboard furniture, exhibition and semi-permanent displays. It can also be used as packing material for fragile items.

    Structural Board Protective Cardboard

Display board is a solid board without corrugations and is generally used for high-end displays, and in places where curves are desired such as elliptical towers or round displays.

It is often used as a cladding material, where the strength and rigidity of a display will come from the cardboard components inside. Display board offers excellent print finish and a long-lasting high quality surface.

    Display Cardboard

Ideal for use where cardboard is not suitable, UV-stable Correx can be used outdoors, in wet weather conditions, can be washed clean, and can be printed as usual. Commonly used for displays in garden centres and DIY stores.

    Correx Cardboard

Extremely light weight and very rigid, foam board is ideal for hanging display boards. It has a very smooth surface for high print quality.

    Foam Centred Board

Foamex is a solid plastic sheet material which has excellent longevity. Frequently this material is used for outdoor signage and has a good appearance once printed. Occasionally, Foamex is used for indoor displays where complex and detailed cut-outs reduce the strength of cardboard i.e. standees.

    Foamex

Predominantly, transparent polypropylene sheeting is used for producing mop trays, which are waterproof trays to fit around the base of a cardboard display.

Once fitted, the floor can be mopped as usual without the need to move the display to a dry area.
